Having said that, I don't really care if people post pics with text added as long as they also upload a clean/original version.

A lot of the so-called "X-rays" people post are little more than standard levels adjustment of the breast area, using the burn function (or similar) to add nipples/areola, and adjusting/faking the color.
You can't reveal anything not already present in the photo. At best, you can show/enhance the indentations in clothing that aren't readily apparent. Anything more than that is just cleverly faking what we believe to be underneath IMO.
You're probably running a plugin like noscript.
The new video player uses a new script (think it's jwpcdn.com) that needs to be allowed for the for video playback to function. --You can still block all the other crap.

Anyone serious about "frowned upon" activities has already been using a seedbox/vpn/proxy for a long time.
Not trying to be a smart ass but there isn't a single way to x-ray, there are several.
Different pics will respond better/worse to different techniques.
That's why when you Google it, you'll get many different tutorials. All of them are technically correct--at least for their respective photo/example.
I know how to fake but don't do it--for myself or others.
Fakes do nothing for me.
I'd much rather see the original corrected (color, noise, exposure, etc) to look as good as it can, rather than be faked outright with things tacked on that were never there.
You're either not doing it right, or the proxy's IP addresses are all blocked.
Cheap solution is to keep trying new proxys till you get one that works (A decent start is the FoxyProxy plugin used with hidemyass's free proxy list.)
A permanent solution is to bite the bullet and go with a paid VPN for $25-60/year. FWIW there's a lot more benefits to a VPN than region unblocking--especially if you torrent or do anything frowned upon.

An easy way to tell if it's working is to 1st visit a site like these while not using anything, to learn your native/home IP address:

Then, try it with your proxy enabled. You should see a new IP address listed--not your home's.
Also, a good proxy (or VPN) should still show "Not used / Highly anonymous" while you're using it.
If properly configured those types of sites should not be able to tell you're using any kind of proxy/VPN.
If the pics are very out of focus, there's not a whole lot you can do.
If they're only slightly oof, try messing with the "unsharp mask" filter in Gimp (it's free) or Photoshop.
Or, upload one here and people will let you know what they can do.
Forgot to add, there are paid plugins that work better (like InFocus by Topaz Labs) but you said you wanted free...
