How does one get around region blocking on myfreecams?
Tried some proxies but they didn't work or I'm not doing it right.

You're either not doing it right, or the proxy's IP addresses are all blocked.
Cheap solution is to keep trying new proxys till you get one that works (A decent start is the FoxyProxy plugin used with hidemyass's free proxy list.)
A permanent solution is to bite the bullet and go with a paid VPN for $25-60/year. FWIW there's a lot more benefits to a VPN than region unblocking--especially if you torrent or do anything frowned upon.

An easy way to tell if it's working is to 1st visit a site like these while not using anything, to learn your native/home IP address:
https://smart-ip.net/
Or
http://whatismyipaddress.com/
Then, try it with your proxy enabled. You should see a new IP address listed--not your home's.
Also, a good proxy (or VPN) should still show "Not used / Highly anonymous" while you're using it.
If properly configured those types of sites should not be able to tell you're using any kind of proxy/VPN.

I did this, but after setting proxy, it seems to not work after like 5 minutes.
Also, i'm in Canada, not sure hot to search on mfc for strictly local girls....
i guess once on the proxy just have to search and hope to find a local?
