obviously, you weren't a combat journalist, if you were really in the military at all. i visited my brother and sister many times when they were stationed at camp pendleton. they called their 'military apartments' barracks all the time, just like the single males and females in the Army did. plus, since I able to get my paperwork through before the freeze in '03, I never was deployed to an active combat zone. The most intense duty station was the DMZ in Korea, and the tension there most days was about as bad as an elementary playground.
My brother did two tours in Iraq, and my sister did one in Kuwait, being female. Although my brother saw some action, he said most of his time was like mine, sitting around with nothing to do.
My guess is, that one, you were never in the military; two, you were in the nasty guard; or three, you were active duty, but every outside of the military, you've never had sex, and are such a loser that no one ever invited you to go to the bars on leave...ever talked to you when you guys had leave.
Everybody who actually has been in the military knows that there countless tales of people being raped, and/or endure all kinds of sexual harassment. The fact that you don't know about this means you either are really stupid...as your spelling yells out; or you have lived your entire life with your head up your ass!
