That's bullshit. You can't just say "there's a lot to live for!" and expect it to mean something. People suffer. Some of us live relatively comfortable lives, but suffer from brain defects. Most of the population of the world (literally most) live in squalor and despair and pain. What do they have to live for? Starvation and rape don't make life worth living.

OP: seriously, if you're on the fence, you're not suicidal. If you could somehow maintain consciousness after death, you'd almost certainly regret killing yourself. Realize that all pain is temporary and just live through it. Things will probably be better in the future. You won't know unless you get there.
