If you go to images and select recent it's a lot of the pictures people posted on a board thread, including my own that are there even after you delete the post on the board. I'm just trying to figure out if they get auto saved into images once you upload them or if it's just someone saving and reposting them
Any upload you attach to a board post remains on the site even after the post is deleted, they go into the anonymous uploads.
What about when it says you have a board reply but says this post no longer blah blah and you cant see it. Still lingering around then afterwards?
Yeah in recent images. That's how I realized this lol. It's just the thread in board section your deleting

nope people can actually delete the image too. and not just thread. just this week someone deleted a thread. so i got a 404 on that. but i also knew the pictures motherless url. and the individual image was gone too.
so you can both delete a thread and delete individual images. but if someone doesn't delete the individual vid or picture it will remain even if the thread is gone.

it says 404 -not found
message you get when an upload was deleted from a thread. actually the entire thread was deleted. and the individual picture was also deleted.
it say 404 not found .but it also says in red "The member has deleted the upload"
and the above is an example from this week. a thread was deleted.i saved a pic. put in the motherless url. and picture was deleted from the site too. so it can be done.
Unless you're attaching something already uploaded to your account every attachment pulled from your device for a board post is uploaded anonymously, even if you aren't posting anonymously.
Attachments only seem to be deleted when the thread is being taken down by mods. When you do it, well, you've got to claim the image or embed? link? make post with? one uploaded to your ML account in advance of the board post.
