Unless you're attaching something already uploaded to your account every attachment pulled from your device for a board post is uploaded anonymously, even if you aren't posting anonymously.
Attachments only seem to be deleted when the thread is being taken down by mods. When you do it, well, you've got to claim the image or embed? link? make post with? one uploaded to your ML account in advance of the board post.
