i think you hit on a reason, that i asked the original question, i needed some honest third person input ( again with the input0. so thank you,
no if and's or buts about it, it does bother me psychologically
(everyone has fear of rejection, but this is a taped on reason (i can't change with a personality adjustment or a little tweek to the attitude) and i get that it is other peoples problem, but then it's mine because I am that one that wears it, and I'm the one that deals with the rejection (at this point i guess it would be easy to just resign myself the the first suggestion, but i think i might give it some more time before i do).
anyway i'd like to thank everyone for their replies, even the one i was a little short with, mine is not a problem that's talked about alot and maybe he really didn't know what it was, so i should have cut him/her some slack.
