"The rich in this country have had their tax breaks that they have been whining about for nearly 10 years. Where are the jobs?"

Answer: First of all, when you have the government taking over companies like GM, and then telling the stockholders, many of which are retirees that have owned stock for 30, 40, 50 years, that they're aren't going to get a cent for it & then give the company over to the labor unions....you're not going to find the "rich" so eager to invest their money.

Secondly there's one very important thing you don't seem to understand: It's OUR money, it's NOT THE GOVERNMENTS MONEY! You act like taxpayers are getting tax breaks as "favors". The government isn't doing taxpayers a favor when its giving them back more of their own money!

It's really a laugh, all of you people out there that live off of government programs, want something for nothing, and don't want be responsible, pay your own way, & simply be left alone like the rest of us do. It's not greedy to want to keep more of YOUR OWN MONEY! And if you socialist losers don't like that, there are plenty of countries like Cuba, Venezuela, and North Korea where they well "take care of you" from cradle to grave!

The government bailed out GM, and it's still privately owned. And the retirees
you speak of are members of the labor union (United Auto Workers)and are getting
their pensions that the union negotiated. It's corporate management that wants
to screw them out of their pensions.

And who's really "living off government programs?" Could it be Goldman Sachs,
Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, and other financial institutions who would have
gone belly up had the government(starting with Bush and continuing with Obama)
not come to their rescue? Could it be defense contractors who get billions for
useless weapons systems? Could it be agri-business who get government subsidies
for corn, sugar and other commodities? The trouble with you right wing pussies
is that you don't have the balls to fight the powers that be. You'd rather pick
on some poor mope collecting a measly welfare check than stand up to some rich
fuck who's stealing billions of your tax dollars. You're pathetic.

^You really should know what the hell you're talking about before you post. GM is owned by the US Goverment, labor unions, and this year started issuing stock again. If you don't know how to use Google to find this out, go to the G.A.O. website & find out there, Einstein. Post facts instead of what you think, idiot.

Well, with 1 in 4 Americans getting Food Stamps thanks to Obama's ruination of our economy, I would say its people taking government handouts. And yes, banks did take taxpayer funded welfare too....after Obama offered it to them! I hate to respond to factless posts like yours with information and facts. We have a free-enterprise system here in the USA (if you don't know what that is, Google it). A defense contractor offers a product that the US Gov,'t puts out for bid. If they win the bid, they get the contract. See how that works, dipshit? Or would you prefer that we throw stones and call terrorists names?
