Feb. 2009 Obama's "Stimulus" plan passes at an inital cost to taxpayers of $787 billion.

Dec. 2010 Obama rejects the report given to him by his own self-appointed bipartisan Debt Commission, which called for drastic spending cuts.

Jan. 2011 Obama proposes yet more Federal programs to add to the national debt, over and above the current .40 out of every $1 (source: Fox News) that goes to pay for his debt.

Feb. 2011 Obama submits his budget which drastically increases his own spending & would plunge the U.S. into further debt. His budget is defeated with all 97 members of the Senate voting against it (source CNN).

March 2011 It is revealed that Obamacare is loaded with $105 BILLION in hidden special interest spending (source: Washington Post). Which is why Pelosi wanted to, "pass it so we can find out what's in it."

Now that Obama has racked up more Federal debt then all 43 previous Pres. combined (source Wall Street Journal & CNS news), he is stomping his feet, threatening that the elderly may not get their Social Security checks (which by the way is THEIR money, not his) unless he gets the debt ceiling raised (which SEN. Obama was against!), and gets major tax increases.

The whole point of this thread is that "Hope & Change" is really the same old liberal "tax & spend" bullshit. Those of us with brains & a knowledge of history knew long before he was elected that all of his give aways of tax money was planned so that he could plunge the country into debt in the trillions and try to FORCE moderates and conservatives to raise taxes drastically to support the explosion of government.

Harry Truman said, "The only thing new in the world is the history that you don't already know". Well Obama, since you didn't learn a damn thing from last fall's election landslide... you're going to be doomed to a Jimmy Carter legacy of being a one term pres.

Oh & by the way... members of Congress both democrat and republican have come out and said that there is money in the Soc. Security Trust Fund, and that there is no reason to withhold payments to seniors whether the debt ceiling is raised or not.

No, an idiot is someone who blathers on about their feelings as if they were fact, and therefore cannot and does not provide any fact or the sources that go with them.

An idiot assumes someone is a republican when they aren't and they don't know the person. The reason being that what they believe is being threatened so they get their panties in a bunch and start making posts based on their faggot emotions.

All rational, no logical. Typical. Taxes are good? Yes. When properly maintained at levels sustainable to that of the middle class, because, even though a guy that makes 2 million dollars a year has to pay 50% or more on taxes, if you think that it on that basis, he still takes home a million. Fuck, I'd be happy if I took home 90 thousand a fucking year, I'd gladly pay 30% on my taxes, but frankly, that's not how it works.

The middle class is the one that suffers the brunt force of the taxes, the lower class lives off the middle class, and the upper class could care the fuck less cause they are rich fucks. I love how people bring up statistics like "The rich make up 3% of the U.S. Population and pay 97% of the taxes" if that were so, as it is stated, then why does someone that only makes 60k a year paying 25% in taxes? Plus 5% for state, plus 10% for whatever the fuck else, in the end someone makes 4000 dollars in a month and only see's 500 of it.

I try to put everything in perspective but in my current living state, I really can't. Sure, I bitch and moan about how I don't make enough to sustain my bills and my car and feed myself easily, but I still get the fuck up in the morning and go to fucking work, why? Cause I'm not some lazy fucking leech.

By the way, in the current state of society, "your a fucking morning cause i said so cause your a fucking moron" only makes you look stupider. Well, I don't think that's possible, but, as much as I believe in my right to free speech, if I don't have a comeback that's worth a shit, I keep my fucking mouth shut. You should do the same.

I've been reading all the liberal/socialist posts on this thread with a huge smile on my face because they were likely made by the same person. LOL

But more then that, is because of the fear they reveal. The more that liberals get scared, & that the facts of Obama's and Pelosi's failures are pointed out to them, the more frightened they become that last years trouncing in the election is going to look like a picnic compared to the 2012 election.

With Obama's poll numbers at all time lows for failure after failure, and over 70% of the population saying not to increase his debt ceiling (aka blank check), liberals can see the p r e s i d e n c y, and the senate slipping away next year.....and they are SCARED TO DEATH! lmao!

OP could have included that many of Obama's own debt commission recommended scaling down or eliminating all together much of the Obamacare law, as it will send the USA into a financial tailspin (welcome to Greece).

But its not just the Pres. and the Congress. Instead of handling California's mountain of debt currently at $377,510,000,000 (that's over $10,000 for every man woman and child in Ca.), today Gov. Jerry Brown(D) signs a bill that requires the teaching of homosexual lifestyle and history in every public school!

As long as we allow politicians to act irresponsibly & shirk their duty, we're going to get moron's like Brown & Obama that keep drinking Kool Aid while Rome is burning around them. Disgraceful!

Actually, we are in this mess because of the unrestricted free-market policies that Alan Greenspan and co. promoted and forced down our throats, which ultimately led to the sub-prime/toxic asset market crash during Bush's tenure. Wow, so we have a failed "Stimulus Plan", Obamacare that was supposed to drive down costs & so far done the opposite, growth of government programs to the point where the debt its created is putting us of the verge of default, private business closing because of all the government regulation in the last 2 years, and record mortgage defaults because the liberal congress forced banks to loan to unqualified borrowers....

...& we actually have democrats posting here trying to convince us that socialism is GOOD?? Talk about being brainwashed! Are you liberals going to piss down our legs next & try to tell us its raining?!
