I love it when a discussion consists of mainly of:

And so on. It makes those people that actually post a paragraph actually look like kinda sophisticated, intelligent people, like ones I would want running my country and major corporations, regardless of how they feel about child sex. I, for one, do not care either way. I believe sex should be about loving someone and as long as you truly do then I am unconcerned with age, race or other such rudimentary and arbitrary parameters. I've come realise, through my extensive reading of many topics on the subject, that you lot "believe" a lot of things. You haven't looked at a load of statistics and made an informed decision, you woke up one morning and decided that Pedophilia is wrong or right. Unfortunately, there is no correct answer to the Pedophilia question because it is a moral one and thus the majority will always rule out the minority. As a famous man (who I can't quite remember) once said:
"You can not reason someone out of a position that they didn't reason themselves into to begin with."
Now I will discuss the level of brutality of extent of damage that should be done to those that want sex with minors. I feel that death is a rather high penalty for sexual pleasure. I think being placed on a register that ruins any chance of you getting a job anywhere is penalty enough. I can imagine, from all of your responses, that thanks to media/social pressure, anyone that may have sympathized with the now "labelled pedophile" would turn there back on him for fear of public humiliation. You get to live out a sad and lonely existence for "potentially" distorting a child's mental health. Is this not punishment enough for you? Clearly not.
I have one last thing to talk about and that is the media. You all probably don't realise it but you are effected by the media, in a serious way. I include myself in this as well, we all fall for its subtle tricks and lies. My first case study is Bird flu. How much was spent on acquiring the vaccination? How many serious cases were there worldwide? And of these serious cases how many of them were immuno-compromised to begin with? The NHS, a large business as it were, fell to the the demands of its customers who were scared by they might get bird flu. And it is the media that did the scaremongering. Much of the vaccine was wasted and pharmaceutics are not cheap to manufacture. There are many other ways in which the media has changed your habits and your minds.
I want all you anti-pedos to think of a few things. How often do you hear of pedophilia on the news? Its always bad isn't it? Sadly, like many, MANY other things, you aren't getting the whole story. Why? The whole story doesn't sell. They want you to hate things so when they put it in the new paper that someone did something bad, you'll buy it. Because they know you will. Something a little more topical, 800 years ago, the age of consent was 12. Are people living at that time Pedophiles by our (and therefore your) modern standards? Does this mean the only reason that you are living today is because your great x7 grandfather was a Pedo?
And Pedophiles, when are you going to stand up for yourselves? You realise there will never be change until you really stand up in the public? There are no point having discussions like this on a porn website. if you want to chance real government policy on this then you need to stand up like Nelson Mandella and other such figure heads for minority groups. Cowering in the shadows will get you nowhere. This is probably the single largest reason Pedophilia is considered shameful, because you are. You don't want other so know that you, as a person not you as Anon, are a pedophile. Pedophilia is pathetic because you are.
