Work was slow as XXXX. So my co workers and i decided that it was OK if i left early.
So i walked out of the restaurant. Went to my car. Got out my fishing gear. Then walked about 35 yards over to the pond.
I pulled in two small bass. Lost two in the weeds. And two or so solid strikes. Not bad for such a short amount of time.
The healthy population of largemouth is still alive and well in the ponds. But unfortunately all of the nitrogen and fertilizer from the golf course washed in to the pond. And it's almost completely overgrown with weeds. Think of weeds on steroids.
Last year it was like shooting fish in a barrell. You could not lose. So now It's frustrating because i wanted to bring my 18 yo nephew and the 18 yo busser fishing out fishing.
