GUILTY PLEASURE

I enjoy watching police bodycam videos on youtube. Makes me feel better about myself. I've certainly done some dumb shit in my life. But at least i was never that bad!!! When i was drunk i never tried to flee a traffic stop. Never thought that i could outrun them. Never thought that trying to fistfight police officers would be wise.

Reason number one: I have a nice job which i am very happy with. That is enough. If and when i want to fuck someone i should simply go elsewhere. And that's not really too difficult.

I saw very pleased to see my young [30] female co worker back in work today. I immediately approached her and gave her a hug. Gave her a hug in front of people.

Selfish motives!!!

She thanked me for welcoming her back. And i said "selfish reasons!"

I explained how i often got paired up with useless untrained people. And i was running around doing all the work while they were doing nothing. It sucked!

I don't want to work with a lazy person who sucks balls!! I told her that i like working with her!! She works!!

hopefully, this wonderful young person will make better decisions and we'll continue to enjoy working with her.

but in any event, i'm being a decent guy. Much better than the drunk i was 20 years ago.

Stuff That One Might Worry About at Work

I am 56 years old. And i have the pleasure of working with a lot of wonderful young adults. :) I have a nice little job working banquets, waitering, dishing and such.

I no longer have nightmares about federal agents with guns coming after me. [Agents in the "Criminal Investigation" section of the IRS carry guns. Kind of serious, methinks.] I am no longer in the field of income tax.

I do still work, of course!! :) But it's not stressful!!! :) I never worry about work!!!

After work i leave and forget about it!! :) i go have a drink or two. And i'll eat dinner. :) Play on the internet. Then eventually go to sleep.

I do not lie awake in bed at night dreading about the horrible catastrophes that might happen at work tomorrow. I sleep peacefully. Life is good.

Anyways, one of my young co workers, 30, made a bad decision and left work to do an errand. Didn't tell anyone. Didn't clock out. That was wrong.

She is a single mom. And has a lot on her plate. But i will not claim that excuses her!

I'm going to go speak to the head guy tomorrow. Thinking that i'll immediately acknowledge that what she did was wrong. She's definitely in the wrong. She needs to be told that she was wrong.

But then maybe recognize "it's a shame. Because you're a hard worker and you're recognized and appreciated by your co workers. And it would be a shame to lose a strong worker."

My comments might help a bad situation. Or the might not have any effect. So be it.

I'm thinking about a hair transplant. I've seen how someone has gained great respect AFTER a hair transplant. And no one points out how he has fake hair.

The Mafia

I am NOT a fan of criminals. And i do not wish to condone their actions.

But it's my understanding that the Mafia would GENERALLY not "un alive" women and [small people]

In other words, he wants to " Un Alive" his enemies. And his enemies want to "un alive" him. But neither him nor his enemies want to "un alive" anyone's mom, sister or offspring. That is off limits.

That was the old code.

Now i am well aware that not all mafia members followed that code. and things eroded over time.

but mafia members would not drive a truck through a new year's day celebration. mafia members wouldn't "un alive" and maim people whom they didn't even know. they didn't "un alive" the mothers, sisters, offspring and neighbors of their enemies. they didn't "un alive" citizens of a country when they had animosity to the country's government

those are my thoughts
and tomorrow when i'm sober, i might read this post and regret posting it.

"Booked for DUI substance." He totaled his car. Damaged at least one other car. Caused bodily injury to at least one other person who is in the hospital.

Making Mistakes

I've certainly made plenty of mistakes and i like to think that I do recognize my errors.

Thanks for the well wishes to my family member.
And after out our 7 day hiatus is over..... After that i'm sure that i can find some way to make it up to sexy young adult, Frank.

I took a family member to the ER tonight. And the good news is that she's in good hands, is in good spirits and will recover.

But the ER was very crowded. The waiting room was overrun with many sick people. A lot of germs.

So tomorrow at work i will need to tell Frank that he and i can't go sneak off and tongue kiss like we usually do. I don't want him to catch anything from me. We're just going to have to hold off.

But then after 7 days or so if i'm not ill then we can get right back to it!! : ) And it will be very exciting!

Sometimes i get stressed out about stuff as most all of us do.

And at these times it's best that i take a moment and think of nice things. The forest is nice!!! The forest grows wild and free!! I really ought to get back to nature!!!

Good Timing

I went out grocery shopping. I got fresh herbs, white wine, fresh corn, chicken and other veggies -- everything that i need to make a good pot of chicken soup.

As i left the shopping district it started snowing. When it's cold and yucky out then staying home and making soup is the perfect solution.

After having a bit of wine i said "fuck it!"

Instead of all the nice healthy chicken soup i just decided to go outside and make a cheeseburger on the grill.

My Exciting Agenda For This Evening

I have some chicken thighs.

Last time i browned chicken was for a chicken marsala. I did a cream reduction with a wine reduction -- some quality chicken stock and a ton of sauteed mushrooms. Me and mine were both very pleased with the outcome.

but tonight i'm merely gonna sear thighs. set aside. deglaze pan with sauvaugnion blanc [sp?]. and then throw all that in with veggies and seasonings to make a soup.
