I admit I touched my stepdaughter a lot , she told a teacher about us a few years later and I got arrested but we had a lot of good times in between . Luckily I wasn't charged so be warned if you annoy your step daughter a few years after you can get caught

I knew a man who, when he was 19, fell in love with a 15 y/o girl. They didn't use any protection when they consummated their relationship and a baby resulted. They were married after the baby was born, (with her parents permission) and lived happy ever after... Well, for the next 19 years, when the woman then decided she wanted a divorce (I don't know her reasons). But her mother convinced her to go to the county prosecutor and tell her story. the man was charged with rape of a 15 y/o they used their child's DNA and simple math using the birth certificate as evidences. The judge found him guilty and gave him 8 years in the state penitentiary (btw, there is no chance of early release or our state).
The funny thing is if she had the abortion she was going to have before he asked her to marry her, the state wouldn't have had any evidence and he'd still be free...

Fucking bullshit. No state in the U.S. has a statute of limitations permitting prosecution for statutory raped after 19 years.

In my state the statue of limitations for prosecution of Class 1 Felony - RAPE is 20 yrs. I didn't say they went for statutory rape, they went for felony rape. The county prosecutor (CoPros) had the woman's testimony, the child's birth certificate, the child's DNA, the DNA test saying he was the father, and a doctor's testimony saying the conception had to be done when the girl was 15. (below the age consent)
The CoPros went after him for all he could; the case was padded with a count of F1-Rape for each time she said they had sex while she was 15, and then offered him a plea deal. Plead guilty to 1 count of F1-Rape, do 8 years or go to trail and risk life in prison with an all of this evidence against him. He took the lesser of two evils.
