The question is, do I continue to wait it out, or do i find a mistress? One thing I've been very good at my entire life is not getting caught doing things I shouldn't, so I'd imagine that would hold true (which is part of why I've always found the accusations to be a bit ironic).

I do love her, but she's also doing me a huge disservice by holding out for such a ridiculous amount of time. The question that comes to mind is: If she loves me, why would she be doing this to me? To further that line of thought, does someone who doesn't love me deserve my fidelity?

What I want is for her to love and want me the way I love and want her, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards.
