The teen pregnancy rate in the United States has been declining since 1990, but rates vary widely between states. Here are the state rates from 2008, from the highest in New Mexico to the lowest in New Hampshire. All rates are per 1,000 teens ages 15 to 19, and data is courtesy the Guttmacher Institute.
