Louise Haloran's death scene is still one of the best to ever get filmed. Everything from her first arriving at the pond, her legs and feet kicking wildly in the water as she is hacked, to to her limp wet body getting dragged away at the end...a true masterpiece.
Shame the remake went a different direction. If the shower scene in Psycho can be remade, so can this one.
