I caught a Wheel Bug, (Arilus cristatus) in South Carolina. It looks pretty cool and something I was itching to stick my cock in the jar with it, but I looked it up first on the internet and the advice is to NOT let it bite you and to only admire them from afar. It said it's bite is 3 times more painful and powerful than a Wasp. Has anyone ever heard of these or tried them out?

I've heard about those & seen pictures of them, but not something that lives here.

Pretty sure its not something I personally would want to be bitten by. Guess it depends on how much pain you're ok with.

That is what I read, as much as I would like to have it's ways with me, I think I am going to have to pass. I did find a few weeks ago something that looked like a cricket and probably was some type of cricket, it just looked a little different, but I did play with it and got some video that I have to do a little editing to and will soon be posting.
