You basically just made your point. There is ALWAYS violence in major cities. Thats a fact of life going way back to the first city ever founded. Plus its kind of silly to say 'see the gun ban hasn't done anything!' when you can just drive five minutes outside of the city and get a gun.

Not in the states in which these cities are. Transporting said weapons is a felony as well . BTW I have my CCW and I follow the rules, criminals and psycos don't,( as well as some idiots on the fringe, including obama)
