i'm guessing it had to horrible to have some sexual desires interest and feeling you had no way you could act on it...not even in theory.
could you even tell anyone in the country that you felt liked black guys ???
back then did you even have net access to look at bbc ? or to read that a white female with an interest in that wasn't the most unusual thing ever ?
you may have felt like a bit of "misfit" back then. :(
