Is it just me, or are most people delusional? No, when you get older you aren't going to get any richer; you will more than likely stay as a middle class working average joe. You are not going to travel the world and will most likely have a kid by the time you're 25 with a woman you don't really love with all your heart. The people that seem to be the most delusional are women. They expect to marry this perfect guy like in movies and to have a beautiful family and live in a gigantic house. The truth is, you aren't.

Sounds like someone has given up the ghost. All things are possible with hard work. Well, within reason at least.

get rid of this Oboma Nation and the entitlment attitude that has swept this country and things will turn around.
A country cant spend more than it earns, just like a family
Get out on vote this guy out

Yeah right, they'll turn around just like they did under the same Republican policies from 2000 - 2008. Bush took over with low debt and a budget surplus. Remind me again what the economy looked like 8 years later when he left office and the Democrats had to come in and clean all this shit up?? Give me a fucking break!!

Speaking of fucking delusional. After that last Bush the country had to decide on either a woman or a black man to run the country. The democrats could have put a transgendered squirrel on the ballot and it would have won.
Only if the public wakes up and realizes this two party system is the block to any meaningful change will there be anything in store for the US other than spiraling into a a washed-up, has-been superpower.

Hey you, reading this thread. Did you feel funny reading these posts^^ You know, that sickening feeling deep sown inside that made you think, people can't be this stupid, is ignorance rampant, and why are these people breathing my air? Don't worry you're not alone.

lol someone got dumped and someone else got preggors

agree with op. unless you are born into money, or lucky enough to marry into it, you'll most likely never be richer then you already are. well people can still dream though.

Given the probability, logic, and history of the average American.
I would have to say that Op makes a valid point. Our society is basically programmed, and taught to do the following: 1.Go to school, get a degree 2.Get a decent paying job 3.Get pregnent by age 25 4.Divorce the person if he/she isnt making you happy anymore.
All of which usually just boxes people into a middle class standard living, being divorced by 45, paying alimoney and support with a wide array of emotional, and financial baggage.
Not so much taught to:
- Go to a ivy league school
- Get a MASTERS or Doctorate Degree
- START a Business
- Dont have get pregnent or get married until at you're atleast 30
- Marriage isnt a end all fairy tale and well come with hardships. Make sure you are ready to deal with them before taking on what is meant to be a life long commitment.

OP here, (i'll go ahead and just use my username), I really couldn't explain that first post how I wanted to word it, but this guy above me sums it up pretty good.
I went to a shitty public school here in Dallas and was surrounded by a bunch of delusional fucks thinking their going to get rich by being managers at a fast food restaurant. I'm 20 years old but i think im pretty realistic when it comes to things like this. I don't expect to become a multi-millionaire but i want to have an IT-related business(computer repair for the hispanic area here in dallas) and enough money to support my family in about 10 years. This country has built itself on a shitty educational system.
I go to school right now, UTA in Arlington for computer science and engineering, i have a girlfriend, so no i'm not some depressed guy going off on a porn website.
I'm a normal guy going off on a porn website. haha
