Good News And Bad News
The bad news is that my car broke down.
The good news is that it broke down at my mechanic's shop.
My mechanic asked me to get it from his parking lot and pull into the garage.
I tried but it would not start.
So he charged the battery. i then started it and pulled it into the garage.
The bill was hefty. But at least i didn't need roadside assistance.
I had stopped driving it two days ago because the battery light came on. So the battery and alternator were on their last legs when i took it to the shop.
