Crud, you mentioned me. Now I have to give my say in your point.
I feel the honor for warriors who fight. But I reconize that fighting isn't always the answer. Only true lunatic murderers want to kill for killing sake. If the army never really did anything besides just look/go through the motions of a well trained fighting force. I could live with that.
The true fighters/soldiers understand the true horrors of war. And they are not nice. So please don't lump me in with the war hawks. Those are the extremist right wing.
