A date that includes her son is a *perfect* first date. If you genuinely like her son, that will likely win her over. Don't fake it. Also, with her son there she doesn't have to figure out (and maybe pay for) a babysitter, and you don't have to carry the whole conversation. If the date goes well, she'll put him to bed early to give you some private time.
And from what you've said, I think she likes you a lot. I'd call her with the date idea.
