Not stealing from anyone?
If the laws of this country and society were completely governed by the bible as you say, then you'd be lookin at 10-20 years everytime you had pre-marital for "fornaticating", or faced the death penalty and life in prison for sleeping with and "coventing" with another mans wife.
So far that I know of, there arent any legal penalties, or consequences for doing either one. Theres several other things that I could point out about your statement, but ill just end it there.
You know, personally If I were an atheist. I wouldnt even call myself an "atheist" and label myself as such. Although you're not a God Fearing sheep. You're still a sheep nonethless. Subscribing to someone elses theories and opinions but your own. Imagine two shepards/leaders. One of them says "theres a God, study the bible", and the other one says "there isnt a God, study evolution". The masses then pick sides, choose their leader, and decide to follow.
The thing is, you'd like to think that you were better then those on the opposite side, just because you font follow a specific set of rules or a specific book.
