OP here. I don`t know at what age they grow teeth as it was a dairy farm that I had these experiences, and there were always new calves being born so I never used the same one long enough for it to get much older than a few weeks. Of course, the older they were, the stronger sucking muscles they had. The great thing was that as soon you start coming in their mouths, they suck all the harder as they think it is milk that they are getting; and they do not let go until they have drained every drop!
