Ok I need help trying to put a word on what this is. Let me describe you this relationship and tell me what you would call it:
Married spouse has a friend from work. They are very close friends that talk about everything and don't hold back with each other. Now they are also romantically involved. It isn't like wham bam thank you ma'am kind of stuff. No. It's very tender, romantic, caressing, etc. They have been on a couple of outings, I would call them dates.
So what word or phrase would you use to describe this? Would you say friends with benefits, lovers, or what? I don't think it is a love triangle, since that usually means one person doesn't know about it or is pissed about it. If the spouse is ok with it, and encourages it that would make it something else. The closest thing I can come up with is a term, Polyamory. Thoughts?
