I don't understand the stupidness that makes muslim think that attacking christianry would get westerners as worked up as them when they send death threats and make life nearly impossible for those who insult their religion, like what happened recently in France.
And no, from a historical standpoint you can't compare a religion popularized by the roman empire and where latin is widely used, even though it wasn't the language the evangiles were written in, and the religion of a desert warlord popularized by desert warlords. That says a lot about them as civilizations.
And even from a theological standpoint, christianry is supposed to be a step-up from judaism with the new convenant and some abolished laws, with a stronger emphasis on fate, something which isn't present in islam and makes it seem like more or less judaism.
Preaching and doing are different things, if you spend your life looting and persecuting meccans you can preach whatever you want but you will still be an asshole.
