I'd say 3/10. Not selfconsistent. He rips open his gut and let the woodland animals eat his insides, and the guy is still alive enough to scream? Seriously breaks the suspension of disbelief.
Reccomend additional work. Otherwise he'll have a hard time finding a publisher.
