So almost 2000 years old. Not "over" as the OP said, but close enough. The piece of leather was dated over 2000 years old, not the scripts, that may have been his source of confusion.
Not bibles in the modern sense of the word either, think more of a bound collection of manuscripts. If genuine (a very big if) then these writings will be lacking a lot of baggage appended by various political ideologies within the church over the centuries, and it will also be interesting to see how issues such as the virgin birth and the resurrection are described, if at all.
