have you been eating paint chips, or did you grow up under some powerlines?

Going to have to go with paint chips in this situation. You get exposed toa larger dose of Gauss from the power lines in your house than you do high voltage lines. Higher voltage means less current. Less current means less gauss and gauss density. Also gauss line density decreases exponentially as distance from the high voltage line increases.
