Los Angeles - A 13-year-old San Bernardino County girl reported missing over the weekend was found apparently unharmed today in Las Vegas, and the 22-year-old Los Angeles County man traveling with her was in custody.
Miranda Hemphill of Victorville was reported missing on Sunday, said Jodi Miller of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
An investigation determined that she was with Ivan Lopez, who is from the unincorporated Lennox area of Los Angeles County and wanted on a 2009 warrant for a sex crime against a minor, Miller said.
The pair were found in Las Vegas late this morning.
