I agree with the previous comment about the moms finding gratification and acceptance through their daughters. If you notice, as I have, that the moms at these contests are, almost without exception, fat and unattractive, it becomes totally obvious that they are living out their dreams of being beautiful through their kids. I find all that make-up, fake tan stuff, etc. very unappealing. They should simply have the little girls displayed in a natural manner, looking like children and not caricatures of hookers.
Those contests have so much potential for showing super hot, sexy little toys, and then they have to ruin it with the ridiculous clothing and make-up.
