I have a sincere question for the mods.

Why do you delete pix that are very obviously *not* minors?

I've seen this happen many times. Someone posts a thread with a pic. The thread says something along the lines of "This is my neighbor, I'd love to fuck the hell out of her". And the photo is very obviously of someone that is well over age 18. Often the OP will also post additional photos of the same woman within the thread.

Later, the mods will come along and delete all the photos.

WHY?????

This is a very sincere question? And I've seen this same pattern repeated enough times that I know it's not simply an "oppsie".

So will one of the mods PLEASE explain what part of the TOS those photos violate on a board that claims to be a "moral free zone"?

I've wondered why that happens too. Even innocent pics of kids are deleted.

Yes, I've also noticed it happening for the (so called) "innocent" photos of kids.

But even though the photos might be innocent, you may have noticed that often times the comments posted in response to those photos are very far from "innocent".

For example, some posters make comments about what they would allegedly do to the kid if they could. Depending on how broadly you interpret the definition, the mods might worry that these comments could be construed as either old, or encouraging old, or some other illegal activities.

So, I've formed a theory (purely guesswork), that the photos were deleted as a result of the comments. And so (guessing again), perhaps the mods feel that deleting the kids photos minimizes future comments of the same nature.

If that guess is true, then it might explain why the mods delete "innocent" photos of kids. But it doesn't explain why they'd delete the pictures that are of chicks that are very obviously over 18.

As far as I know, because you upload them to the boards separate from linking to another uploaded on the site, they are temporary and get removed regardless of content after an amount of time.

Ahhh... perhaps this is the reason.

On the other hand, I've personally posted photos in threads that are not linked to other uploads on the site. Some of those photos are still in the threads (after several weeks), while others were deleted within a day or so.

So you could be right. On the other hand, it does seem like some of those unlinked photos stay in the threads for much longer than others.
