I'm tired of people spamming the boards and/or hiding behind proxies to insult the admins. I've tightened the technical measures even further to prevent this bullshit.
Don't post links to sites that make you money. Don't use a URL shortner to obfuscate your links. Don't link to passworded RAR files.
If you're using a proxy, good luck posting. If you get banned, it's because you didn't follow these rules.

I still never get why people throw insults in your direction. I think I'd just ban everyone who insults you! It is a free site, after all! Send them elsewhere!
That is a lot of bullshit. The links that are posted to sites that make money, has no effect on this site. So why ban them?
Those links that were posted are of a much superior quality video than the crap that gets posted here, and we all loved it. I cannot remember seeing one negative message about the links that were posted.
Now I miss them.

Regardless of how free this site is, it has ads that support the site. I like the site but people need to realize nothing is free. So if you were a paysite you would not get as much traffic because someone else would replace you. There are much older sites that are still around that kick your ass in some ways. Freedom of speec is only free when they are spoting their bullshit. When the truth comes from anyone else, the post is deleted.
Look at the guy who posted that you can still see someone's uploads that are marked private and subscribers only. that post got deleted.
In the other board, they had a sticky that said you could post links that are relevant, even on a site that pays the uploader. They went and deleted that post too, and then pronptly come up with these stupid rules.

Read the news...webmasters and hackers are doing serious jail time. And anyone associated with them via a known IP address aught to be careful.
This post will be deleted soon too. But I have already saved the page as proof. I fully expect my current IP to be banned for posting this post. But unless they plan on banning all IP's I will get a new one tomorrow....
We reserve the right to change the rules at any time. Who's site do you think this is? I tried allowing relevant links from pay-out sites and the boards were full of spam links to these sites purporting to be porn, but actually containing rick rolls. Nice.

I agree that it is your site and you are free to change the rules as you see fit.
But I disagree with the statement that all the links posted were spam. I can vouch that the links pointing to the storage host were all relevant as dictated by the rules that were in force at the time.
I urge you to reconsider that rule that bans links. There were a lot of users who never complained that the links were spam. Only a few actually said thanks. It would be nice if other users chimed in. But I probably would not hold my breadth on that.
links are not banned, I've just removed the financial incentive for posting links by banning upload sites that pay. This cut it back from people looking to make a buck to people interested in sharing porn. rapidshare, megaupload, and others are still allowed, and I encourage people to continue posting links using these non-pay-out services.
