Question? If a girl sends me pics/ lets me take them on my phone, they become my property to do whatever with as long as it's not for profit, right? She's of age and what not. I just get a kick out of posting pics of exes :)

Not exactly. If she lets you take them, then you are the copyright holder and you can do what you like with it. If not, then she holds the copyright. The law is less clear about whether you have that freedom absent any affirmative statement from or contract with her.
But no one cares - if you post them, we jack off. If not, we bitch and moan. That's all that matters!
