I have been busting ass for the past year. Finally dug myself out of 4 years of debt and have managed to sav 14k. Im 24 and don't know much about how to make my money make money. Any good investment ideas? Serious responses only please. :)

First and for most, don't come to motherless for financial advice. Stay away from Facebook stock. in truth if you have passion put that money towards making it happen as a career, become your own boss

you can't buy any real estate for 14k that will retain or raise in value and gold is vastly overpriced thanks to all the apocalyptic neanderthal brained idiots who hoard precious metals for the coming armageddon. it also doesn't fluctuate enough to make any real money on it by day trading.
start a business, and since you actually came on motherless to ask this question, you should start a porn company clearly. or just take your money and retire in a third world country like india and belize.

I think you overestimate how much those "neanderthals" can affect the price of gold. Generally, people like that aren't (and don't) get rich, and poor people couldn't afford much of the worlds supply of gold. Most of the god in the world is owned by countries anyway, not individual investors.

you dont do day trading with precious metals you asshole. and you buy gold at a low price and sell it when you find it is worth the price to sell. Kitco.com is your friend.
