do worry a lot of people don't know which albums songs come from.
no matter how big the band is.
i had some micro discussion with an aerosmith fan and they had no idea which lp had 'sweet emotion' on it.
despite thre fact this person has been on the net and social media for years. and this info is easy to find.
none of their friends that also like the band didn't tell her. it was from the 'toys in attic' lp. ah...
anyway maybe i'm the weird on for remembering the lp stuff. ha i know about that. and i don't even like aerosmith. anyway. cough cough
last year i saw a guy in a ramones tee and ask them what he liked by them. and all he knew was 'blitzkrieg bop'
because it was played in commercials and spotting events. but guess he saw the t-shirt in public enough to know it was cool. if i only knew one song by a band i wouldn't wear the t-shirt. ;)
anyway i'm definitely not an authority on them. i have the two "all the stuff and more" cds (which i like the first four lps and some extra stuff)
and the ramones mania best of cd.
limewire. haven't heard that name in years. you look too young to have even used limewire. or know anything about "file sharing era" wow !
anyway i was thinking of using the ramones song 'go mental' for a bit of video chaos with a cool movie for images.
anyway 'road to ruin' supposedly had the biggest influence on underground punk/metal versus their other releases. that had to sound some pretty fast/noisy in 1978 or so.
