LOL, before Pres.Reagan, interest rates were 21%. Inflation was in double digits. Hostages were taken in Iran. Taxes were outrageous.
Reagan fixed all of the problems caused by Carter, including getting hostages released the day he was inaugurated, and caused the collapse of Communism in Russia. I was able to buy my first house because of him and 8% interest rates.

Learn the history before you spout. Hostage were released because RR cut a deal with Iran. Dirty politics of the highest level. RR was not the knight in shining armor so many remember him as. Raised taxes, increased government, crippled unions, the list is pretty long if you'd care to turn off Fox and do your own due diligence.
