Yup, was a case like this in Washington a while back some dude didn't inform chics he had aids, slept with like 26 women who all of course slept with other people. Out of all the people like 8 of them tested positive for HIV and the guy is doing life in prison now. They originally charged him with some kind of federal intentional biological contagion charge which falls into the same realm as if you were handing out anthrax or something. He plead down to the state version which I don't remember what it was called it's basically the same thing but is more based on intentional spreading of an incurable disease or poisoning someone etc so it falls closer to attempted murder charges then to terrorism and treason charges like the federal one. He's still doing life in prison but it's state prison instead of federal prison and he doesn't have a terror/treason charge so he gets to be in general population instead of solitary for life.
