Sounds hot. But what is the story behind the separation? Do you still have feelings for your wife? Or you think it is over? If you think it is over I would continue the FWB situation with the roommate. :) If not...well you basically cheated on your wife. I guess you should talk to her about it. :-O

No, things with the wife/soon-to-be ex-wife are pretty much done. That ship is dead in the water.
The FWB seems to be the best course to set right now...

I have to agree, if things are over with the wife, you should take companionship where it is available! This is speaking as a guy who is 40 and never been in a relationship. Trust me, after a long time, you get quite lonely without romantic companionship in your life. Unless you just don't want it, I guess. :)
