id tell him. explain to him that you like the normal rough sex but anal is different. that you need that easy slow go. you found out you enjoy it. he always wanted to do it so no reason to get mad. he should be excited and looking forward to it. I would be. no reason to keep something from yourself that you both enjoy. good luck hope it works out!
