A more believable story would be one where the OP installed cameras in the fitting rooms. This would then be why he was fired.

I work in a department store where they moved the fitting rooms and two of the security cameras could be paned to get an ok view of some of the fitting rooms. It only lasted a month before someone reported it and they added ceilings to the rooms.
