How do taxes go to help rich people? Unless your talking about the ones that support Obama, their companies seem to get favor when it comes to federal spending. A tax cut does not give out money it just means you are taking less away form what they have earned.

Have you ever driven on a road? Noticed those guys driving around in police cars dealing with crime or driving in fire trucks putting out fires? Where do you think the money comes from to pay for all of that, santa? It is taxes. So when people do not pay their share they get to enjoy those services for free basically.

As an example look at how communities let companies skip on their share of taxes to bring in a factory and "create" jobs. Guess who has to make up for those lost taxes. The people working those jobs. The ones who barely make enough to live on while the poor owners of the company get by on a mere 6 or 7 figures a year.

Lets see rich people pay more money in taxes, that go to the basic government services you listed, that most poor or even middle income people will ever see in a lifetime.
And companies do not pay taxes essentially, the cost is always shifted to the consumer.
