I completely agree. I don't want these videos removed however. Let them remain. Let them remind us of the sanctity of all life. Let it remind us of how destructive and cruel our species can be. These videos may be some of the worst things you have witnessed but believe me when I say that there are even worse things happening. We are such a damaged species and we have done it to ourselves.

Whilst many may completely disagree with me, I believe that this is the cause of society. Our minds are so damaged by capitalism, corporatism, fascism, overbearing advertising, money and so much more. The only way to rid the world of such atrocities is to promote egalitarianism for all sentient entities. The people that commit these atrocities are those that feel the most confused, lost, hopeless and powerless. These actions are very satisfying (at least in the short term) for those people. The power to control the life of a helpless creature, in more powerless than themselves.

Why would I be sad? I don't enjoy watching crush videos... nor do I even want to watch them. My point was, the more available they are, the easier it is to find out who the sick fucks are that are doing it. In case you were unaware, it isn't just bugs and crustaceans at all. I have seen rabbits, dogs, cats, fish and many other animals in crush videos on here.

Everything that is multicellular is an animal? Are you fucking stupid? A fungi is multicellular; so are plants and algae. Every animal is multicellular but not everything multicellular is an animal.

When I spray disinfectant I kill bacteria (which by the way are unicellular). Bacteria are non-sentient and cannot experience pain and suffering due to lack of a central nervous system as are plants. Furthermore, I do not oppose self-defence so if bacteria attacks you, you have a right to defend yourself.

As Gary Yourofsky puts it "If you and I were walking through the woods and a bear attacked you and jumped on you, do you really think I'd be like "Huh, too bad I'm vegan man"? I will beat the shit, or try to beat the shit out of the bear"

No, I don't eat chocolate. I don't eat, wear or use animals or animal by-products either. What do you mean by "something like that"? I really don't see any connection between religious nuts and speciesism.

No, I'm not particularly happy that I "won" as you put it, but yes, I'm happy that I have chosen to live a lifestyle that causes minimal harm to sentient beings; why wouldn't I be? I just don't like it when people spew uneducated bullshit and make assumptions based on little to no evidence. In fact, I'm not even sure what provoked your original attack. Please enlighten me as to what I did that provoked such a response.

The original dislike came from the(obvious)fact that I thought you wanted to see these crush video for the enjoyment of abuse. The latter "attacks" come/came from you being pompous/pretentious and the fact that you used a fallacious argument i.e you dismissed my point and used a continuum fallacy (I was imprecise so must be wrong).

The fact that we should not bide ourselves with insignificance's that do not detrimentally effect us(such as the care for bugs and mollusks "feelings"); was and is valid argument (for what I thought the situation was) however I know see I was clearly unaware of the whole argument. Thus using ad homs.

There is nothing pompous about being compassionate to other sentient beings.

What point did I dismiss? You assumed I would be sad to not find crush videos; I explained that I don't want to watch them. There's not point to respond to in " it's fucking bugs and crustaceans, get over it", still I addressed that this was incorrect. You claimed that "everything multicellular is an "animal"" which I corrected you on and "fuck off with that bullshit speciesism" is not a point, just a poor insult.

You made assumptions about my lifestyle despite knowing nothing about me, thus I explained that these assumptions were false. I then went on to explain that attacking something that attacks you is self-defence. I asked you what you meant by "something like that" and you ignored the question. As for the response that followed, "Big whoop" is not a point or an insult really... just petty.

I'm going to disappoint you, but sometimes humans learn their history just to repeat it, especially, the evil parts. For example, did you ever hear about "3 guys and 1 hammer" video? It's about three guys who firstly killed and tortured animals, then they started to kill indiscriminately men and women. Some time after this had happened, a copycat case happened in a neighbour country and they killed like 6 person and they said, they did it, because they had read about the original maniacs.
So, those crush videos must not be allowed and should also be removed.

By the way, those guys committed those acts in big part, because of "self-affirmation", in the same way, some guys cry here they watch those snuff videos, because they think that makes them brave, hah.
That reminds me, when I was in my military service, there was a lot of guys acting tough and rude, but one day, one of them (unlike those ones I mentioned, he was a calm guy), had an epileptic seizure when we were all around, then those guys were shocked and scared and his rudeness completely disappeared, they remained in silence for a time that day, from my position I wasn't able to see how it was his seizure, but it still made me feel bad and uncomfortable. Watching shocking things in a monitor can cause desensitisation, but it's completely different when you see it in person, that's why soldiers are really affected when they've returned from a war.
