For those of you who don't understand that wall of mind bending fuckery, I'll summarise: By using this website for anything, including the shit you type, anyone around the world has the a-okay to use said content however they please (although I'm not entirely certain about reselling it). You post a picture on here, and no amount of bullshit, poorly scratched out, fake legalese is going to prevent anyone from reusing it for any reason. The only reason they may not use it is out of personal respect, or you're just not that interesting. Quite honestly, I'm thinking of making a publicly funded study of this annoying trend, which is likely clogging up the arteries of countless servers around the globe, thanks to poorly educated people.

Learn to read the fine print, and maybe next time you see yourself in unauthorised use, you'll actually understand why it happened- YOU FUCKING GAVE CONSENT DUE TO IGNORANCE. Remove that annoying shit from your profile, because it means nothing; and frankly, the people who run the servers will probably thank you... not to mention, your dignity will suddenly lose a dent, and your reading skills might get a workout from actually reading the ToS of websites before you use them.

I don't care what you call your political self. If you think the same people that ruined the economy are even WILLING to fix it, let alone can fix it. Then allow me to lay some shit down for you think about.

First lets establish the culprits in this sitch. Well Obama had just been swarn in to the senate in 2005 when the housing bubble,the Credit Default Swap market and 2 wars backed by massive tax cuts began a perfect storm for the coming of 2008.

Now, if you don't know what Credit Default Swaps are, I'll break it down. It's basically bunches of private citizens credit bundled and sold/bet on/leveraged or w/e. They were started in the early 90's and all the way to 1999 were only worth 300 billion. Very early in the the Bush first term they were deregulated and went from a minor way for banks to have some security in investments and then turned into a speculation and investor market. By 2002 they had reached 2 trillion in holdings. By 2007 it was over 60 trillion.

Lets think about this for a second. If it's Obamas fault that gas prices are (honestly not even as high as they were during katrina which the republicans did nothing about) as high as they are. Then it must be Bush and the republicans fault that all this deregulation and massive debt betting and hedging that started the collapse of our economy.

Now that this is all established. And is factual. Lets scale this down to something we all can relate to. Lets say you have a house. And the house is the country in 2008. And in the house the plumbing breaks and floods because you had some shoddy work done by a plumber between 2000 and 2007. Do you really think it's not going to take a SHIT load of money to fix that? Do you really think that you won't be losing money to fix something that just destroyed your house?

The idea that it's Obamas fault that the national debt is high because he had to fix something that he didn't cause is pure fallacy. Even if there's a couple of talking points like "clean energy" or "drilling and pipe lines" for you to grab hold of like a life jacket. It doesn't change the fact that you have to spend to fix what's broken. And sometimes it's SO f'd up that you're not going to think you're getting your moneys worth (IE the promise of 8% unemployment). Sometimes you just have to be thankful that things are getting better at all. And be damned happy that you're not letting that old shitty plumber back here to fix anything...

I understand you .. guys, don't like having to think about anything but what a paid media spokesman tells you. And don't like reading anything that doesn't fit in a one sentence sound byte. But I hope you try to read it and understand my meaning and know that it takes money not only to make money, but to fix a ton broken f'd up mistakes that were made. And again, it's a lot easier to make a problem than it is to fix it PROPLERLY. And further, sometimes NO ONE knows how to fix it at first or second or third looks. This simple fact can be scaled to most any economical,physical and mental breakdowns or problem or what have you..

By creating this fast lane for corporations, all of the other independent, grassroots, and start-up websites like Daily Kos would be stuck on the remaining slow lane. The internet would be severed—stuck with slower speeds on some website which can’t afford to pay, where a level playing field for start-ups couldn’t exist, and where democratic discourse would be suppressed.

We cannot let Big Telecom, Big Cable, and their lobbyists in DC, who influence the FCC, ruin the internet. You can help stop this. Please write and send a personal comment to the FCC today. It would be an entirely different internet than what we’ve always known. One where your cable company or internet service provider would be able to favor some websites and data over others and diminish your ability to choose your own content. For example, Fox News could strike a deal to become the priority news provider of big cable and load on the fast lane, while independent media, like Daily Kos, would be reduced to a second tier internet with crawling speeds—we’d lose the largest liberal blog in the country at a time when we are needed most.

The Internet, since its inception, operates in a neutral state as a level playing field. A place where all content and data are passed along from website to user equally, allowing you, the user, to control your experience, with no interference from your internet service provider. This is net neutrality.

The FCC is considering breaking the way the internet operates and creating two internet experiences at the behest of Big Cable so they can extract more profit.

If the FCC passes this rule it would create this two-tiered internet. Instead, we need to pressure the FCC to change their rule before they vote on it. To protect the internet we know, one with net neutrality, we need the FCC to write the rules using legal authority they already have—Title II authority of the Telecommunications act—which would treat the internet like the public utility it is and prevent Big Cable from creating two internets.

Please, write and send a comment to the FCC—the deadline is September 15—urging them to reject the fast lane approach and to protect an open internet with net neutrality by treating the internet like a public utility under the law. You don’t have to be an expert on the topic to write an email—be honest and tell them why the internet is important to you—if you are a student, an internet activist, a writer, a reader, or any type of internet user, you have a voice. And, now is when we need you to use it—time is running out.

I day trade for a living (foreign exchange and commodities), and pretty much never go outside at all.

The thursday before last, I decided that I should actually leave my apartment once in a while, and left the exchange to go walk around aimlessly (unrelated: did not actually lose any money, go figure.) I ended up on this huge winding path that goes about four miles through a park with about four full soccer fields and two baseball/softball diamonds with a bunch of idiots playing games for some reason (around 6:00pm)

There were these two girls (shortish, one of them was husky but not fat at all, the other one was smaller, both slimmer and shorter, maybe 5"4' and 5"1'. I have no idea how old they were. Late middle school, high school or even really immature college girls or whatever. Impossible to tell these days. They had breasts.) on the path, maybe there with their parents or their friends who were out of sight maybe in the field or something. I gave them an obvious glance, and just walked by. When I had turned around to go back, they were still on the path, and they decided to say hello while muttering to each other. One of the girls said she had to go, and the other one actually came with me.

Showed her my apartment, she seemed impressed by my media set up (which is actually pretty impressive if you don't see trading equipment often) and turned on hbo.
