I Confess that I am total Lust with Kate Upton. Thanks to my job, I have had the opportunity to meet her on several occasions, but never really talk to her. More like see and meet her along with a room full of other people. That is until just the other day when her and I shared an elevator ride together, and talked for an eternity! (More like 1 minute 30 seconds, but seemed to last forever!)

As I fumbled for my voice to introduce myself finally one on one, she actually said with a laugh, "I know who you are, (my name here) we've met several times!" Which incredibly flattered me!

I tried to be professional and just commend her on her work ethic and how this must all be like some wild dream to her, but in my head all I really heard was, "OMG I love you I love you I love you I love you"

Unfortunately, not much else happened here except business talk. I wish I could tell you all some exotic story about elevator sex, but, alas, no such luck.

I'd very much like to start a group, but have no idea of the ethics around promoting it. How do I reach my target audience without inadvertently spamming? Is it okay to advertise my group in other groups? Are boards an acceptable place to solicit new members? Any hints/tips would be welcome.

Mitt Romney's repeated claim that he played no part in executive decision-making related to Bain after 1999 is false, according to Romney's own testimony in June 2002, in which he admitted to sitting on the board of the Lifelike Co., a doll maker that was a Bain investment during the period.

Romney has consistently insisted that he was too busy organizing the 2002 Winter Olympics to take part in Bain business between 1999 and that event. But in the testimony, which was provided to The Huffington Post, Romney noted that he regularly traveled back to Massachusetts. "[T]here were a number of social trips and business trips that brought me back to Massachusetts, board meetings, Thanksgiving and so forth," he said.

Romney's sworn testimony was given as part of a hearing to determine whether he had sufficient residency status in Massachusetts to run for governor.

Romney testified that he "remained on the board of the Staples Corporation and Marriott International, the Life Like Corporation" at the time.

Yet in the Aug. 12, 2011, federal disclosure form filed as part of his p********ial bid, he said, "Mr. Romney retired from Bain Capital on February 11, 1999 to head the Salt Lake Organizing Committee. Since February 11, 1999, Mr. Romney has not had any active role with any Bain Capital entity and has not been involved in the operations of any Bain Capital entity in any way."

Bain, a private equity firm, held a stake in the Lifelike Co. until the end of 2001, including during the period in which Romney claimed to have no business involvement with Bain entities. Bain had heavily invested in Lifelike, a company that Romney identified personally as an opportunity, in 1996 and sold its shares in late 2001. His involvement with Lifelike contradicts his assertion that he had no involvement with Bain business. His testimony is supported by his 2001 Massachusetts State Ethics Commission filing, in which he lists himself as a member of Lifelike's board.

Romney has long said that he took a leave of absence from Bain because the work of organizing the 2002 Winter Olympics was so grueling, which has allowed him to deny responsibility for Bain activities during 1999 and 2002.


His activities during that period also included Staples board meetings: "I returned for most of those meetings. Others I attended by telephone if I could not return."

Bain was involved with Staples early in its life, taking the company public in 1989. Romney used his Bain position to obtain a seat on the board, which he held into 2002. He regularly cites the jobs that Staples created as reflecting positively on Bain's record.

The Boston Globe on Thursday blew a giant hole in Romney's claim that he left the private equity firm in 1999. The Globe reported that Bain's own filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission suggest that Romney remained deeply tied to the company until sometime in 2002.

Bain described Romney in 2001 SEC filings as the "sole stockholder, chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and p********." Another form stated that he owned 100 percent of the company in 2002 and received a six-figure salary from Bain in 2001 and 2002. His listed title: "Executive."

Earlier reporting on the topic by Talking Points Memo and Mother Jones had already begun to chip away at the Romney narrative.

The Romney campaign is still sticking with its candidate's story.

"The article is not accurate," spokeswoman Andrea Saul said in a statement released to reporters following the Globe story. "As Bain Capital has said, as Governor Romney has said, and as has been confirmed by independent fact checker multiple times, Governor Romney left Bain Capital in February of 1999 to run the Olympics and had no input on investments or management of companies after that point."

Yet Romney's sworn testimony appears to back up the SEC filings and contradict his personal disclosure forms submitted to Massachusetts officials in 2002, in which he said that he retired from Bain on Feb. 11, 1999.

Romney's lawyer at the Massachusetts hearing said that Romney's work in the private sector continued "unabated" while he ran the Olympics: "He succeeded in that three-year period in restoring confidence in the Olympic Games, closing that disastrous deficit and staging one of the most successful Olympic Games ever to occur on U.S. soil. Now while all that was going on, very much in the public eye, what happened to his private and public ties to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts? And the answer is they continued unabated just as they had."

Instead of leaving in 1999, Romney suggested in his testimony that he only left Bain after the Olympics in 2002: “I left on the basis of a leave of absence indicating that I, by virtue of that title, would return at the end of the Olympics to my employment at Bain Capital, but subsequently decided not to do so and entered into a departure agreement with my former partners. I use that in the colloquial sense, not legal sense, but my former partners."

The opening statement delivered by Romney's lawyer in the 2002 hearing said Romney "continued to serve on the board of directors of a significant Massachusetts company and to return here for most of its board meetings."

In a statement released Thursday, Bain defended Romney. "Mitt Romney left Bain Capital in February 1999 to run the Olympics and has had absolutely no involvement with the management or investment activities of the firm or with any of its portfolio companies since the day of his departure," the statement reads. "Due to the sudden nature of Mr. Romney's departure, he remained the sole stockholder for a time while formal ownership was being documented and transferred to the group of partners who took over management of the firm in 1999. Accordingly, Mr. Romney was reported in various capacities on SEC filings during this period."

I confess that I'm a white guy who grew up in the ghetto.
My experience has made me an expert on race. I can tell you that blacks and mexicans are truly the lowest of the low in the race hierarchy. They have no redeemable traits, intelligence, dignity, pride or work ethic. They have no regard for honesty, integrity or respect. That is why they have such miserable lives. There are such few good blacks and mexicans that it doesn't even make sense to give them the benefit of the doubt. I often joke that stereotyping the inferior races is really no different than profiling a criminal.
Now, I live in a very nice area and it's all white. All of my white neighbors talk about how much they hate 'racism' and yet they have no friends that are not white. You go to their weddings, parties, etc. and it's nothing but white people. White who claim to hate 'racism' really don't. They just feel sorry for the inferior races the same way some rich people feel sorry for poor people. There are some rich people who will throw a buck or two at a bum the same way a white person will defend niggers or wetbacks just because it makes them feel better. However, the charity of a white person is limited. You will not see a white person moving in poor niggers or wetbacks next door to them.
This white charity fuels a sense of grandiose amongst the inferior races that we are all equal. That is why when niggers or wetbacks get mad about something, they automatically assume that white people will care. We don't. We don't give a shit if Jose or Jamal got shot 7 times by Pedro or LeTrell. We don't give a fuck about Black or Hispanic History Month either. White people only gave you those months because your races haven't accomplished anything. It's more like a racial consolation prize.
At the end of the day, we know that blacks and mexicans hate their own kind more than whites ever could. We seen it with their jealously over blacks with light-skinned or mexicans who are more white looking. Whites see it when you niggers and wetbacks go out in public with your highlighted hair and fake blue eye contacts. No, we don't believe that it's natural and it looks awful. You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig.

I confess... out of the time that I have been here (which really hasn't been more than about 6 months) there has been one persistent thread topic that I really just don't get... and that is the constant bashing of one member, Alpha Omega

Alpha can be annoying... if you are a troll. He will swoop in to an absurd thread and put in a zinger that seems to cut to the core of what is going on. If you are being a twit, he calls you a twit... he doesn't come right out and say it (most of the time) but uses irony and sarcasm, which may be the issue... some people just don't like having the world KNOW that they are a twit.

most of us, if we do something stupid, go, "yeah, you got me" and we learn and move on... some, it seems, have made a holy crusade to belittle Alpha, which is odd because if most of the people had put as much effort into their post as they do into their relentless attack on Alpha, they wouldn't have gotten zinged in the first place.

Trolls of the universe, be forewarned... Alpha is loved around here, because he is witty and humorous, and mostly because he isn't a total knee-biting jerk, like most of the trolls... those who wish to belittle him, we laugh at you... you aren't going to change our opinion of him, and if anything, you only solidify our support for the Ethical Treatment of Trolls

This is a request for some advice on my problem. I come to this website, as I heard it can spawn many thoughts that aren't normally accepted on other boards. I'd like suggestions on what to do with my problem. I know some trolls will come, and they can get a hug from me, but hopefully I get some actual help too. Also, I hope it is readable, as English is not my first language (I'm Turkish).

I am a 19 years old woman and becoming 20 in roughly 4 months from now. My brother, who is 20 years old, and I are still living at home during the weekends. We are both studying and are therefore away from home during weekdays.

Lately I have noticed underwear had been missing from my drawers, and I usually find them in one the laundry baskets. That by itself is pretty strange, but what is more strange it has stains in them that look like a boy used them to do whatever with. I have no boyfriend, or anyone that I know who would do something so I first thought it might be someone within the house. It couldn't be my dad, as the panties end up missing even if he isn't around. So it must be my brother.

At first I got kind of angry, and a little upset. But then I thought more of the idea, and got slightly turned on but I am still very angry about it. In our culture (we are Turkish), sometimes cousins marry each other (never siblings) and even produce offspring. Now while this is heavily frowned upon, it is not entirely rare or illegal in my country. In our culture it is also common that a woman has to 'please' the guy she is with, and it is seen as some kind of duty of the woman. So in ethical terms, it is not forced by the guy, but it is expected of the woman.

One offtopic example of this happened to me on my sister's wedding day. My uncle told me I looked nice and such, and he asked me to come with him to the men's restroom. He started touching me, and talked me into letting him enter my mouth and other private parts. While I didn't really want to do it, it is a little bad to say no here, so I let him go on. Mind you, this is the only time something with my family took place for me.

Back to the problem. I am 100% positive that my brother is defiling my underwear, because I am now checking the basket often and I can no longer pretend it's not him. So now I do not know what to do. Should I confront him about it or should I catch him in the act?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

REGARDING PEDOS AND RIGHTS
ok, this is not another "ugh pedos should go kill themselves blah blah blah" rant.
Someone in a recent topic said that pedos should have rights just like gays.
Im here to argue why pedos should NOT have right "just like gays" in two points.
1) Gay sexual acts are between two consenting adults. The individuals know fully what they are doing and have consent in sex and relationships
2) Pedos lust after little children, little children do not have the capacity to consent to sexual acts because they cannot comprehend what sex really is. Even teens and young adults can be manipulated quiet easily to "consent" to sexual acts.
