I've come to the realisation that I'm dissatisfied with everything in my life. It's not that it's a bad life... in most circumstances it'll be considered a very good life. It's just that all the joy and happiness has been bleached away, and what's left is ennui and boredom.
And before someone asks, I've done the big, scary life-changing epic things that people normally do in my situation. I've quit my job and travelled all around the world. I've packed up a bag, left my home town and went to live in a strange city where no one knew my name. And things end up monotonous and pointless in the end.
I've done other stuff as well. I've treasured my friends and family. I've loved a girl more than I've ever loved anyone else. I've done the altruism and Golden Path route to greater meaning in life. And I've gone the other way as well. I've whored around and know my Spanish from my Greek. I've taken various illicit substances. And obviously, I've seen a lot of fucked up porn on this site, stuff that normal people would freak out about.
And I'm at a loss as to what to do.
