So june is here... I confess that I am a black Republican. I don't give a fuck about Republicans or Democrats but as a Democrat, I'm just another nigga. As a Republican, I am treated with white privilege. I know most Republicans are racist but I don't mind being their show dog because they compensate me very well for it. I would not have the job that I have now if I were a Democrat. You also cannot put the price on the reaction of a white man's face when he sees a black man talking shit about Obama.
Being a black Republican is not without its costs. I have been blacklisted (no pun intended) by all of my black friends and most of my family but they just haters and I really don't give a fuck.

I confess, that part of accepting your white privilege is realizing that, inherently, all white people are racist. Maybe not interpersonally, no. But because of the institutions and society we were brought up around, which we inherently support just by being alive in this day and age, we are systemically racist. Systemically, we support institutionalized racism, whether we mean to or not, just because we are white. This is something we have to accept so that we can be of more use to POC in situations of injustice. We need to stop defending ourselves and literally just listen
