I work in an inner city clinic that is now owned by some less than savory individuals. I had to make a difficult decision, and as a result I follow certain rules for clinic hours as well another job in a bar they own.
It started with them choosing me to pose for clinic advertising. Since then they told me, a doctor, what clothes I must wear along with the white coat and a demeaning name-tag.
I'm very composed and dignified though, regardless of situation, even if that makes me somewhat detached. I know my behavior and the white coat attract some attention, but I am determined to hold my head up with dignity.
