Seriously--I mean geeze, I realize that it can be difficult at times what with lack of tone and inflection, but come on dunderheads, this is a no brainer. You should feel extra stupid for thinking for a MOMENT that OP was being anything but ironic.

OP: Of course I was being self deprecating. I am good at what I do but I had made a huge mistake. Very often US don't get UK irony. Two nations separated by a common tongue!
